Case Study: USI's Loss Control Team Helps Client Comply with USDOT Regulations, Retain over $1 Million in Revenue and Reduce Potential Premium Increases by more than $80,000

A USI Transportation client was having problems with their Hours of Service and Driver Logs causing inquiries from the USDOT and making some of their large shipper clients nervous. USI’s Loss Control Specialists extensively reviewed the account and helped create a Corrective Action report to address USDOT concerns. USI provided sample documents and peer comparisons to substantiate key action items. The Corrective Action report was accepted by the USDOT, preventing regulatory action against the client enabling them to retain over $1 Million in potential lost revenue from shippers threating to leave. USI further leveraged the report with insurance carriers helping the client avoid premium increases of over $80,000 annually.
